THE PROBLEM

Malek Construction is a high-end design-build contractor serving Akron, Ohio that has grown through referrals based on the great work they do. Their existing website, however, did not accurately portray the impressive projects they’d completed or properly define the scope of what they could do. Instead, it was a static, one-page website that gave just a list of their services and shared too few pictures of the beautiful remodels, additions, and custom builds they had completed. Because it was a small site with very limited content, it did not provide any inbound search traffic, limiting new business opportunities. As a result, they were relying very heavily on their referrals because their small web presence.

THE SOLUTION

From the beginning of our work with Malek Construction, it was clear a completely new website with a full story was a necessity. The new site was built around two things: the high quality work that their team does and the satisfaction of their clients. This was first represented through clear visuals. The new website is filled with images of beautiful project work completed by the Malek Construction team. To support these images, we also created new content that clarifies the services offered, where they are offered, and how Malek Construction provides a unique customer experience with their design-build services.

To better help tell the Malek Construction story, the new website also focused on sharing testimonials from happy customers. Quotes from customers for whom Malek Construction had finished large design-build projects are sprinkled throughout the site. Additional social proof was added in the form of positive reviews and listings from industry sites like Houzz and known networks like Facebook.

THE RESULT

The resulting website build created a stunning visual representation of Malek Construction’s capabilities. From the images on the home page — including one of a project appropriately called “Sanctuary Kitchen Remodel” — to the cleaner definitions of the services offered, it talks directly to the higher-end customer that drives the Malek Construction business. From this new web presence, the Malek Construction team has been overwhelmed with inbound requests for quotes, contributing directly to rapid growth for the company. Today, we help them create ongoing content that continues to show how they are a true thought leader in their space.
